Man in Landscape
hit counter
Man presence in landscape photography brings more emotional value , it can be just silhouettes giving a better idea of the global scale , it also makes ourselves wondering what are they doing there , or wishing to be there too .

2008 Digital Photography Contest
Enter The Nature Conservancy's 2008 Digital Photo Competition by submitting your favorite images. Your favorite nature photos could win and inspire others!
Just like the more than 25,000 entries we received since our first contest in 2006, we're looking for beautiful nature photography representing the diversity of life on Earth — including forests, grasslands, lakes, rivers, deserts, rainforests, oceans, coral reefs, and more!
To enter one or more images, tag each with "PhotoContest-TNC08" -- it's that easy!
Your own original digital images of our lands, waters, plants, animals and people in nature are all eligible for the competition. (View previous years' finalists here.)
The winner's image will be printed in the 2010 Nature Conservancy calendar -- reaching nearly 2 million households worldwide.
The contest is open to all photographers age 18 or older regardless of residence or citizenship, so long as the laws of their jurisdiction allow participation. Photo submissions must be uploaded by 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Please read the full rules before entering.
NEW! Share Your Photos with Nature Conservancy magazine
Do you have a favorite photo of the natural world? We’d love to see it. Every quarter we’ll provide a topic to inspire you. If you’re up for the challenge, gear up and head out to capture the perfect photograph — or simply search your archives for a suitable submission. The editors’ top picks will be published in the magazine and featured in an online slideshow at nature.org/magazine.
Our next challenge is Oceans and Seas.
To enter one or more images, tag them with "Oceans-TNC08" by 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time on December 11, 2008.
Are you stirred by sea turtles or wild about whales? The Nature Conservancy is working around the globe to protect oceans, seas and coastal areas such as mangrove forests and coral reefs. Eighty percent of all life on Earth depends on marine habitats and the resources — like food, medicine and storm protection — they provide.
Nature Conservancy magazine invites you to share your best photos from in and around the world’s oceans and seas. So pack a sense of adventure and your camera too and start shooting!
Thank you for all you do to showcase and celebrate the beauty of our natural world — inspiring others to protect our most critical natural resources. And good luck!
Venice
Venice is the most beautiful city I've seen. I was prepared to be disappointed because of the hype and instead I was blown away by it. I'm not the best of photographers and I was there for only a short while. Here's your opportunity to show everyone who's never been how gorgeous it is.
